The other day, I received a special voicemail from my daughter. She was bubbling with excitement, telling me how much she loves her life right now. But what makes her story even more powerful is where she was 10 years ago. As she left school, she felt a bit lost, uncertain about her future, and things didn’t look particularly promising. Fast forward to today, and she’s living a life she’s truly passionate about, all thanks to some big decisions she made along the way. One decision, in particular, 18 months ago, became the turning point that led her to this place. This choice holds an important life lesson for all of us. In this week’s podcast, I’m sharing what my daughter did to transform her life into one she loves. |

The other day, I got asked an interesting question: “How do you seem to have it all together?” It was flattering to hear, but I answered honestly: “I don’t always get it right, but I do have a framework that helps me stay aligned with who I want to be.” After hearing me talk about it, they looked at me and said, “Why don’t they teach this in school?” Their reaction made me realize how valuable this framework can be, so I wanted to share it with you. This is how I approach my life, how I stay aligned to what’s important to me, how I stay focused, and create a today and tomorrow I’m excited about. The Bevan James Eyles Show, Episode 337 – Feeling like you’re failing? This perspective might change everything
Sometimes, when we're in a tough emotional place, our thinking can turn against us, making things feel harder than they really are. We might even feel like we're completely failing. This week, I was coaching one of our runners who found themselves caught in this mindset. In that moment, I introduced them to a perspective I call "Moments vs. Trends." This approach helped them step back and see things more clearly. The "Moments vs. Trends" tool keeps us grounded, especially during challenging times. So, if you’re feeling overwhelmed and like you’re failing at everything, take a moment to listen to this podcast. It might just help shift your perspective. |
